While working on human rights foreign policy and foreign assistance, I was inspired by the innovative work I saw happening at the nexus of technology and human rights. I decided to learn software engineering and development so that I, too, could create projects with code and contribute to technological innovations aimed at improving human rights and governance in the United States and around the world. I love the opportunities for continuous learning that come with software development.
