Edith López Estrada (pronouns: they/them/theirs) is a data analyst with over 10 years of experience conducting research in business, academic, non-profit, and government sectors. They have the ability to manage, synthesize, and analyze data into reports, dashboards, presentations, and publications using Excel, SPSS, Python, PowerBI, and Tableau. Edith currently serves as an Analyst for the Data and Evaluation Division (DED), Office of Quality Improvement (OQI), Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Prior to HRSA, they were an Analyst, Policy Roundtable at the College of American Pathologists (CAP), where they designed, implemented, and conducted data analysis of economic surveys on pathologists and pathology practices. Prior to joining the CAP, they were a Program & Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP), where they supported CSSP's President and managed special projects. They also served as Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, San Antonio Branch where they were a part of the planning, interviewing, data management and writing processes of the “Las Colonias in the 21st Century”—a highly regarded quantitative and qualitative research study on the colonias along the Texas-Mexico border. During their college career, Edith served as a Research Assistant at the UTSA Mexico Center and UTSA Child & Adolescent Policy Research Institute. They were also a student-athlete at UTSA (2011-2013) and the University of Missouri (2009-2011) as a part of the Women's Soccer teams competing at the NCAA Division I level. During their free time they enjoy creating public art, tending their garden, organizing with their community, and creating spaces for femmes, people of color, and LGBTQIA+ people to engage in self-care practices.
