Column is hiring for the following roles:

ON DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION

Column is a venture-backed civic technology start-up dedicated to improving the distribution of public information, starting with public notice. From 2010 to 2019, less than 1% of funding deals went to LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs. And more than 1/3 or LGBTQ+ founders choose to keep their sexual orientation hidden while fundraising.** To support LGBTQ inclusion, Column's Founder and CEO, Jake Seaton, as well as our Head of Product, Annie Shugart, host conversations where they offer tips about succeeding as an LGBTQ+ founder and/or leader. 


In addition, Column is a public benefit corporation, meaning we are dedicated to the interests of stakeholders — such as team members, publishers, and more — outside of investors. Column partners exclusively with venture firms that are supportive of our desire to build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment. And, our 3-person Board of Directors collectively represent multiple intersectional identities that are underrepresented in technology, including women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals. As a remote-first company, we have team members living all over the world and promote a flexible work environment that enables all team members to flourish.
